Will individual DU members post here on DU the ongoing county by county vote totals within

different states as the vote counting is done?

If I remember correctly it seems some DU members use to do this during the election night.

It ended up leaving a detailed record here on DU with an hour by hour vote totals that seem to point out weird changes in vote totals as the night progressed.

The listing on election night of county by county totals left an unofficial record of how the counting is progressing throughout the night.

If I remember correctly, in 2012, DU members were leaving a written record in real time of their observation of vote totals. This left a time stamp of their observation. When some counties seem to lose votes all of a sudden DU guys noticed it almost immediately and was questioning what is going on. I think it was some Ohio and PA counties. It was interesting to think about in hindsight.

Then in 2016 they attacked and took the DU site down.

So please don’t assume that I’m a republican if you see me standing in the voting line. Not all of us early voted.
