No wonder Trump wants to hold his "victory party" at the White House. He has been responsible for so much hate, violence and mistrust in this country that he won't feel safe regardless the results Tuesday night.

and taxpayers is paying or Airforce One while he is campaigning but oh noes, no Aids package tho. Seeing federal troops at the WH is definitely his fault. He is the one alongwith with the republican party causing this.

Biden/Hariis for the win.

P.S. he is hunkering down while the rest of America who can't afford extra security is vulnerable, just like him leaving his cult after insane rallies out in the cold.

Fence with the bunker. Somebody tell trump he can stay until January. We will not come and get him until then.

the only reason that Trump would need another fence with more guards is if he plans to try to steal the election.

He will announce he is king and there will be no protesters at the White House because it will be fenced off.

States need to do what Rick Wilson suggests, ignore him and keep counting those votes.

I would not put it past him to then declare martial law. He is a caged animal. Hopefully he is going to lose in a landslide.

I am putting positive thoughts into the universe.

Come January 20, we simply change the padlocks from the inside of the fence to the outside.

Presto. The new Washington D.C. Federal Prison for the Criminally Insane.

We'll build something better for Joe and future Presidents. The costs for fumigating this one would be much too high, anyway.

Nah, just kidding. He'll have his two-month-long pity party, put on one of John Goodman's old dresses he used when playing Linda Tripp on SNL, and try to sneak on to one of the lifeboats paddling away.

And then we'll be stuck paying for having it fumigated anyway, damn him.

Just because he ignores the Constitution doesn't mean we will. Let the fool cower behind his security blanket. The guards can dry his tears and lead him to his cell after the inauguration.

An American president needing a wall and armed troops to protect him from Americans.

I would say he is thinking he’s King Louis XVI, except I’m sure the reference would mean absolutely nothing to him.

Maybe he can name his fortress “New East Berlin.”

I remember when the Berlin Wall went up — I was 13 & visiting family friends in Southern California that summer. It was a symbol of all that was ugly, nasty, and sterile in the Soviet Union during the Cold War. It was a symbol of the threat that totalitarian regime posed to Europe and America. The memory is further deepened because the mom in that family originally came from Vienna, & while her family escaped during the Anschluss, they were separated and imprisoned in France for a number of years, & she had a few things to say while we watched events unfold on tv.

The US has gone from despising the Iron Curtain to JFK saying “Ich bin ein Berliner” in solidarity with East Berliners to Reagan intoning “Mr Gorbachev tear down this Wall” — to building partial border walls of our own and to this disgusting display, where this president promised to build an impermeable border wall of our own along our border with Mexico. He delights in erecting walls & fences inside US cities as well.

Something is seriously wrong with our own country that Trump’s base thinks this is a swell idea — not perceiving that they & all of us are being imprisoned inside our own borders just as much as brown people are allegedly being kept out.

Joe Biden is absolutely right to be talking about the Soul of America.
