(145,130 posts)This filing is by a former Harris County GOP party chair who was voted out of office a while back and is not a strong filing in my opinion. I know of this attorney only because he used to be the GOP party chair before he was voted out and defeated by an attorney I used to practice law with. This is not a strong filing in my opinion. The equal protection claim basically boils down to the claim that drive through voting is not allowed under Texas election law which is the claim that the Texas supreme court just rejected.
