Navarro said that she spoke to a police chief in Miami who told her that what those Trump supporters did was a felony and would be charged as “aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.”

But for her it was Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) that “incensed” her.

“I can’t believe it’s happening in America in 2020,” she said. “When I saw Marco Rubio last night at this Trump rally, Rubio who president Trump used to refer to as Little Marco Rubio, referred to — has now turned into little Trump. Have you been paying attention to TLP podcasts? YouTube videos? I think their worldview has changed. They are pro-science, support expanding SCOTUS, want to address climate change, support Roe V Wade, the ACA, BLM, and police reform. Don't sell them short. They're much closer to our values than GOP values. I know there are a lot of policy differences, but this has scared the shit out of them too and we will need their help long after the election.
