FL has been able to count early votes 22 days prior to Nov. 3. I think on election night we'll know the results of Florida on time. If Joe gets it, he's probably won. PA can't start counting mail/absentee votes until 7 AM on Nov. 3 and it might be a few days before we know where PA goes. But Joe has a bigger lead in PA than FL so I figure if FL goes for Joe, PA is in the bag.

OH, on the other hand, has been all over the place where Joe and Trump have traded places a few times. I think OH will be for Trump this year.

OH won't matter for Biden if he gets PA or FL. Trump must have all three and a few others to win. But if FL goes to Joe, the pressure's off the squadron of lawyers Trump claims he has going to PA, they'll be a waste of time. There is no math right now where Joe wins Florida but fails to secure 270.

What does it say about Trump's supporters that Trump has only lost 2 points during one of the worst years in our nation's history?

The sample size is around 1500 in all the polls and the MOE is +/- 2.5%. I have seen other polls with a sample size half of that.

...so it's probably best to err toward Trump by the 2.5% margin of error or so, which would also bring its national average in line with those of polling organizations as a whole. That still puts us slightly ahead in both states.

Quinnipiac is very respected. B+ is their grade, but it's really one of the 3 or 4 most respected polls, even more respected than a couple of the A+ pollsters. They do things right and are completely transparent.
