If Trump steals this election my life is literally over

As someone who depends on the ACA to survive (Type 1 diabetic), my 22 year old son is also a type 1 diabetic. Years ago before the ACA I was buying insulin out of pocket, but now that is no longer a possibility due to the skyrocketing costs. I am unable to work due to recent kidney surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. My son and I will be both screwed big time. I cannot believe it has come down to this. I am more concerned about my son having to go through this and growing up in a country full of ignorant hateful f*cks. Meanwhile I have an 80 year old father who is a full blown Trumper and does not give a single damn about this. I seriously have lost faith in humanity. There has to be millions out there feeling this way, what are the alternatives?

Sorry for this post, just venting.

I am so sorry that you're having to deal with that kind of anxiety. We've just got to stop that monster. Many are in the same boat that you and your son are in.

Earlier today I was asking myself if I'd ever be able to set aside the animosity I have for those who still support that monster. I don't think I can.

Just look at all the recent federal court rulings. Even the Repub appointed judges are having none of the Repuke arguments.

Seems to be the ACA has been stripped down to the only purpose it serves is to cover pre-existing conditions. I've lived a good part of my life where they were not covered so I'm not really holding out much hope here.

I just hope some RW asshat on the SC has the GUTS to say NO...we are not going to kill off the ACA by some ridiculous claim that Guberment shouldn't be subsiding affordable health care.

If that's the case then tell all those farmers they just got their LAST subsidy check......

When the ACA is gone and people have to run back to the Health Insurance Industrial Complex. Just because they would claim to cover PEC doesn't mean they won't charge a fucking fortune to do so.

You are not alone!

All these evil assholes take advantage of our inability to organize into a permanent problem for them?

In what world do you pay a sports performer 1000x more than the people educating your kids or the people tasked to keep the peace: protect and serve?

Trickle down was the biggest lie of them all?

And My life will be ruined if that sack of shit wins. I am disabled I live in a HUD run apartment ,on SSI and rely on Medicaid to help with my issues..
I have severe mental illness and was hit by a car as a pedestrian years ago which fucked up my body,my back pretty bad.

Trump will destroy my life ,what stability I have,my ability to get therapy and meds and what I need to survive.

And if he does destroy it all because he's a fucking psychopath cheater I am as good as dead. I have no clue how to survive.

We have to believe or we'll all go crazy. I agree...I can't take 4 more years of this chaos, along with COVID or without. I keep hearing Trump is the expert on the economy, which is a lie but no one has stood up and called him on his bragging about it. That's where a lot of the votes are coming from...money. How much money is it going to take to straighten out what all he's destroyed or harmed? How much money will we find he's amassed/spent in the last 4 years? I'm sure a lot of that money could take care of you and your son's diabetic needs. It could take care of a lot of ills in this country. Just one hunting trip by junior would do that.

We are all frustrated and I hope that in the process, we've learned lessons we won't forget.

Good luck to you both. If Biden/Harris win, it will take a while to truly turn the corner, but it will happen. Keep the faith.

It's apparently much, much cheaper up there but I don't know if Americans are still getting in to buy it. I also don't know if Canadian pharmacies can ship insulin to the U.S.

As well as civil liberties protections for LGBT and minority groups. God bless you and your family. It's time people in this country learn to love INVESTING in our country and our fellow people again instead of only worrying about tax cuts and their own pocketbook. So sick of the Trump's and the selfish generation I see supporting him. We're better than this.
