When I step into the voting booth, I will not be alone.
I take the empty Lordstown facility and the forgotten small farmers.
The 545 children of asylum seekers taken from their families will rest on my shoulders and that woman governor from Michigan will stand at my side.
Peaceful demonstrators crying out for justice will guide me to the ballot and the uninsured will walk with me to the ballot scanner. Just before casting my ballot I will bow my head for the 237,000 Americans who have lost their lives to Covid. I vote not for me but thee.

(8,272 posts)10. Welp I posted this on my FB page last night, and by this AM, I found I was unfriended a few times.
A real head scratcher as to why anyone would be offended by the facts.
Go Joe and Kamala!
