The problem is
The problem with the Electoral College is the winner take all approach, whether if you win a state by 25 points or by 1 percent. If we had to have the Electoral College, I'd like to see them do it like Nebraska and Maine do it. You get an Electoral Vote for each congressional district you win and if you win the state, then you get the 2 remaining electoral votes for that particular state. That would be much more representative for how that state voted.
