The situation in the Texas Attorney General’s office is astounding. I can’t believe the AG can simply fire everyone who has raised objections to what may be illegal behavior. Have other state officials or DOJ sought to do anything?

NEW: Two more top @TXAG aides have been fired in the wake of criminal allegations against @KenPaxtonTX.
David Maxwell & Mark Penley, who were involved in investigating the complaint at the center of the scandal, are out after being on leave for weeks.
