"Dixville Notch is the first in the nation!" for some decades now. I've always thought it was bullshit, but now that they are down to five voters, who really gives a flying fuck?

I recall some years ago, especially when I worked an early morning shift and went to bed by 9am at the absolute latest, that I would never on god's green earth stay up to midnight just to vote. Let me get a good night's sleep and then I'll show up. Clearly, those in Dixville Notch had no voters who worked a very early shift. Unless they all went to the polling place early but the votes weren't counted until midnight.
