Bidens Plan to Assert Control
November 3, 2020 at 6:19 am EST By Taegan Goddard
Biden advisers learned the lesson of 2000, when Al Gore hung back while George W. Bush declared victory in that contested election, putting the Democrat on the defensive while Bush acted like the winner.
So if Biden is declared the winner, hell begin forming his government and looking presidential and wont yield to doubts Trump might try to sow.

(3,503 posts)Just saw Guam is staggering their ballot counting. They used to use a large area where ballots could be counted. Now they are limiting the number of districts that enter that space to 30 at any one time. If there's 30 in the space you have to wait to do your counting until a group finishes and leaves.
If state-side counting goes similarly, then counting could be stretched out over a long period of time. I have no idea what each county in my state is doing to tally each precinct. I knew someone who actually worked the polls and I think they tallied all the votes at the voting site after closing then went to the county courthouse where they recounted to verify their numbers before they could go home. I think similar precautions controlling how many districts can come into the courthouse at any one time might be in place.
This will obviously impact larger population counties more than smaller population counties. It may create a "Red Mirage" with rural counties finishing much earlier than their suburban and urban counterparts. If this bears out, expect shenanigans to begin.

(6,943 posts)Of course Trump will make things as difficult as possible. But a real president has already planned for that. Like the Godfather, the other families wont even know what happened.
By the time the polls close, Biden will have already usurped the seats of power. Bus-chasing yokels will be left in the cold faster than the sheeple at a Trump rally.

(15,559 posts)I will start referring to him a President Biden as soon as it's called for him. I did the same thing with trump. I NEVER once referred to him as President since he wasn't.
It's that simple.
