Two things to remember today

Just two quick things to keep in mind today

1. Republican turnout in this election will likely be high, that is something that has been expected all year, so don't freak out if there are reports of high turnout in GOP areas.

2. Don't pay too much attention to exit polls. They aren't meant to just be taken at face value as the final results. Despite what many people think, that isn't what they are designed for so don't use them as a preview of how the results will look. It's a massive waste of time.

Other than that, let's fucking do this

into the why? They can be compared to the actual results and until the actual results are in they cannot be weighted correctly.

How and why are women voting the way they are or non college educated whites or black men in the midwest or any demographic you can think of. Those are then weighted with the final results to tell us post election what happened. But the final results need to be in before exit polls are useful. They are only used to car races when they aren't showing massive deviation from what is expected in solid red or blue states. So exit polls would be useful for calling idaho or california as soon as the polls close but for any state that isn't a blowout, they dont say much early on

3. There are going to be crazy right-wingers trying to provoke trouble. Stay smart and keep your cool. Don't let them engage you, don't let them prevent you from exercising your right to vote.

This is the day where we all have ONE JOB to do, and that's to vote the asshole out!
