We took them to the county auction, they got the highest prices (haha) because they were so good and calm and sweet... A lady wanted both of them for her dairy herd -- nanny and female kid about ready to get started being dairy herself.

(I love statutes of limitations. It allows me to tell my funny stories now that I accumulated over my misspent youth.)
