The incompetence is a plus because it means that he got what he got entirely by privilege. White, male, Christian, straight, cis, rich.

He ticks all the privilege boxes and makes it abundantly clear that he couldn't have possibly gotten anything by any means other than privilege. Bad at business, bad at deals, bad at politics, bad at leadership, bad at organization, bad at times management, bad at hiring, everything.

If it weren't for privilege, he'd be homeless or in prison. Most likely prison.

The right wing loves this because it validates their belief in privilege. And poor white people think that privilege applies to them....
