(14,750 posts)The dems have a massive advantage with the early vote totals, not even including repubs crossing over or indies breaking towards joe.
That means the gop has to massively overperform dem numbers today throughout the state. They are well below in miami dade which helps the dems bank votes to offset the more conservative regions.
But it's the same story state wide. As of this morning, only 52% of voters were gop. They need that above 65% to be competitive.
They are likely expelling bricks right now.....

(10,039 posts)it's time to do our duty then chill out and wait for the results. This hanging on even the smallest nuggets of speculative "information" seems overly stressful. If I could get away with it today, I'd probably take a nap until the first polls start closing. ...not kidding.

(5,557 posts)The numbers the pubs are crowing over only have Miami at 700k.
It means there are at least a half a million very blue votes coming in FL

(10,053 posts)And may I add, not all votes cast by repubs are for repubs. On our local news down here they interviewed Cuban-American women who are breaking ranks with their male counterparts and are NOT voting for trump this time around. Their reasons being: how trump failed at handling the Covid crisis and how cruelly he ripped children from their mothers to be put into cages. One woman said that she is not only voting for Biden, but voting Dem all the way down the ballot to send a message to her repub party.
