There was a video going around of a recent rally where Donald Jr. implored voters to turn out and vote to “make liberals cry again.” He turned to hand the mic to his dad and there was an awkward moment where Jr. tentatively put a hand on his dad’s back as if to suggest a hug (which Trump didn’t respond to). The focus of the video was on Jr. and how Trump rebuffed him, but what stood out to me was the lack of any human connection in Trump. Utterly empty and cold. Made me almost shudder to think how horrible it would be to go through life with absolutely nothing meaningful to you except material things.

What a complete waste of a life.
