I wish we had left the clocks the way they were!

9. Being retired, I seldom look at the clock.

I used to get up at 6:00 AM and have breakfast by 7:00 AM.
Now I get up at the same time, but the clock says "5:00 AM" and when I sit down to breakfast the clock says "6:00 AM".
But so what? I really don't care about the numbers on the clock.

16. I always like Winter Solstice Day when the days start getting longer again. Did you know

that during the summer it stays lighter considerably longer in the northern states such as NY than it does in the southern states like Florida?

18. Spring forward

Yes, we should have left the clocks at Daylight Time but then in the Spring spring ahead one more hour. I'd love to have a glimmer of light at 10:10pm in the middle of the Summer. Couldn't care less if it was pitch black at 8am in the Winter.
