Really, CNN? Vermont is too early to call?

I guess they just aren't calling anything at poll closing because of the difficulties of exit polling during a pandemic.

Most of the state was closed for the past hour. I imagine they will call Vermont as soon as a few votes come in.

For some reason Vermont closes its polls early like the southern states.

4. I thought they started doing this waiting for west coast to close. We knew by the numbers though.

7. If they are able to call a state when the polls close in that state they do.

No one waits for the west coast which doesn't close for 4 hours.
