I am not saying we shouldn't make social issues part of our perform but it shouldn't be #1. Even on COVID, I complained in the first debate that Biden didn't bring COVID back to economy. He did that after the first debate but we, as democrats, need to do better on our economy messaging.

Edit: Yes, deaths are horrible. Mask is important. But link it back to keeping COVID in control so we can open up the country. That's how we get our economy back up and hammer that home. Instead, we focus of the horror of deaths but can't relate it to people's pocketbook.
