...I just want to say that I feel absolutely sick that this many people have voted for this utterly despicable failure of a human being.
What a miserable, ugly country we live in. At least 40% of America is composed of wretched, fucked-up people. We just have to accept that.

(5,506 posts)These electronic voting machines are not rig-proof.
Dems should have spent more time insuring we had a better voting system. Even paper ballots that are hand counted are more rig-proof than these damn electronic machines.
Too many people have been effected by covid and see this clown as an utter failure on that and most other issues.
These numbers do not add up for me.
If not, then a majority of this nation are under some warped form of mind control.
Neither scenario is positive.

(26,578 posts)and I was convinced of this even if this election had been a blue tsunami.
The Rs figured out a strategy and a long term goal 40 - 50 years ago, and have been single mindedly pursuing it ever since, while the Dems have been all but oblivious, and have rarely thought beyond the next election cycle.
Meanwhile, a massive RW propaganda apparatus has been erected and maintained, and has succeeded brainwashing tens of millions of people, also to the complete obliviousness of the Dems.
In the bigger picture, we never truly won the Civil War, and that malignancy has been festering in the body poltic for 150+ years, and it was always going to continue to rear its ugly head, probably until the nation was destroyed.
I'm not seeing any indication that the conclusions I reached some time ago are wrong. This election may put off the inevitable for a few years, but I see us eventually becoming a failed state.
I apologize for the rant, and hope that it doesn't get hidden.
