She put together an amazing ground operation out there. And she advertised in Arizona. And she visited.
The media mocked her for that after the election. They acted as if she was ridiculous to treat it like a battleground state. People said that she never should have targeted Arizona.
They were wrong. It was a competitive state in 2016, even if we didn't ultimately win it. We were right to put forth a valiant effort out there.
And I strongly believe that our efforts to build our party brand out there, along with our developing our infrastructure, is paying dividends 4 years later. She deserves enormous credit for that tonight.

This post is about graciously honoring HRC for her contributions, something that is almost never done.

(28,888 posts)ran a bad campaign, she was a flawed candidate, unlikeable, didn't go to Wisconsin enough, didn't hold enough rallies in swing states, didn't talk enough about the economy, whatever.
