Hey. Maybe they're not stupid.

Maybe they are not fooled by this clown. Maybe they really are cruel, nasty, crude, ignorant, greedy, and mean. Maybe they like locking children in cages and shooting black people. Maybe they are exactly like they vote. Maybe we didn't misunderstand them. Maybe they are deplorable assholes that don't deserve the country they were given and then trashed.

Fuck them.

The virus numbers have already shown us how un-civic-minded so many of our fellow citizens are.

Some pundit gushingly praised Trump, saying (paraphrased) "his supporters like him because he's not afraid to say what he thinks."

My wife responded with "No, he's not afraid to say what they think."

And Trump and his cult have proved it daily ever since. He gives voice to the hatred and ugliness that they were too afraid to articulate, and he thereby validates all of their bigotry, racism, homophobia, misogyny, and so on.

Because of this, they will worship him until the last of them is dead.

The simple fact is there are 60 plus million American adults who would not hesitate to relive Nazi Germany all over again. On the one hand its scary, on the other at least we no longer have any doubt. Half our adult population are utter scum bags.

It won’t make me feel better about living in a country where so many not only condone the destruction of our country but encourage it for their own stupid selfishness. I am a baby boomer born after we defeated fascism and now much of our population sends to be welcoming it to our country after thinking it couldn’t happen here. 😢☹️😕😤🤬

Lock him up.

They comprised almost 42% of all white voters according to the CNN exit poll, but they're less than 30% of all whites according to non-election polling.

They're strongly motivated by religious beliefs and give anti-Christ Trump their overwhelming support.

They're probably a big reason why 65% of all voters were white, which is also a higher percentage than their non-election percentages.

Why is polling that uses the same methodology dead on accurate in some states and then way off (8 points in Ohio) in others? It's been repeatedly shown that voting machines are easily hacked and if they were, it would be in some states, but not in others, and the variance from the polling would be the only evidence.

Not to mention that there's no question that the post office was being massively manipulated to fuck with mail in ballots. They wouldn't have gone to the trouble of removing electronic sorting machines without surgically targeting the districts that they would impact. Again, the only evidence afterward would be that the polling differed from the results.

It's been two elections now where Trump exclaimed beforehand that he wouldn't accept the results if he lost. That could very well be a calculated tactic that prompts the other side to say that of course they would accept the results while they are having the election stolen from them. It's kind of con man 101.

Of course we'd accept that an authoritarian ruler in another country rigged the election. It is very hard for people to accept that that has happened here, but it's one of the most logical explanations for the results.
