His approval rating is pretty much exactly what it was in 2016. We overestimated the number of people who would bail on him. Obviously, it's not much more than zero.

I think Obama would have beat the asshole handily.

There’s very little personal enthusiasm for Biden himself and I believe that has hurt him, unfortunately.

Obama excited people, Hillary and Biden did not.

If people were actually thrilled with the idea of Biden being president, he’d be crushing that scumbag right now instead of simply barely leading,

Like it or not, people like to be excited for the candidates they vote for. Just hating their opponents typically isn’t enough to get them to the polling booth.
