They have only counted 75% of the ballots! All those outstanding are ABSENTEE!!
ON EDIT: I think I'm wrong, the 7,359,798 is the number of registered voters.

(6,143 posts)I will say that my personal ballot NC tracking, it shows that my Absentee Ballot has been RECEIVED but it has not yet listed this election as one that has COUNTED for me ( i.e., it still lists the primary of 2020 as the last election I voted it)
Don't know how promptly they updated that particular stat.

Also, North Carolina will continue to count mail-in ballots postmarked today as long as they arrive by (I think) the 12th.
Candidates can ask for a recount if it's within 10,000 votes.
A long shot, perhaps, but it's not over.
