She is now telling me not to be a snowflake and accept that the court will save the nation.
Thought I taught her better about how the Constitution works.
It's clear from the CNN exit poll that it was mostly white evangelicals who put us in this situation again.
My evangelical sister voted for Trump immediately! She requested an absentee ballot and then hand-delivered it as soon as the ballot arrived.
They were nearly 42% of all white voters per CNN, which is way higher than their overall percentage!

Our 14-year-old grandson in another southern state has been noising his group's support for Trump and a new misogyny to go with it, even though he's always liked and gotten along very well with girls, and everyone else. The opposite of his sophisticated and liberal parents' values, and that's probably the point for him, but I can tell our daughter isn't completely sure it's just passing adolescent nonsense.
