General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWell, I just woke up. Unlike November 9, 2016, I'm not physically shaking.
Unlike that morning, it sounds like we still have an okay chance to pull this out.
Im not having a panic attack. But I dont feel happy, either.
I just feel tired. Tired and a bit deflated.
Well, lets keep fighting. Because there is no alternative.

(1,571 posts)I just dont get it.
That is what has me down the most, how many people still voted for him after the last four years. It wasn't just the crazies with guns in the flag draped pickup trucks, it was also seemingly ordinary people.
I was expecting this election to be a repudiation of the monster in the White House. I think Trump was expecting a huge, decisive defeat as well. He's like the monster in the horror film who just won't die. He keeps coming back to life.

It also reminds me that religion is possibly the most toxic and corrosive aspect of human society.

Joe still has a chance. No winner has been declared even if that POS wants to stop counting votes.

(50,706 posts)Something is stinky about this. Yesterday, when asked if he would be giving a victory speech, Trump calmly said there was no need to play games. There's something going on we don't know about. All polls can't be this wrong.

(90,594 posts)I will need to find a new state to live in... Montana is about to become a wasteland with Gianforte and Daines, I can't bear to watch after all I invested in keeping our public lands here in public hands. I just have to figure out where I can move to and then do so.
I am so depressed right now, I have no words to describe it. I love it here but I can't fight against this shit anymore.

I am just so heartsick right now, I don't know if I can even make coffee which I really need right now.

(166 posts)We knew we were subject to a red mirage. Biden is going to win.
The bottom line is that we live in a country where a sizable minority of voters believe JFK Jr is still alive and secretly helping Donald Trump defeat Democrat blood drinking pedo cannibals who hide children in the basement of the Alamo. An even larger minority know that 240000 are dead on 45s watch but dont care because stock markets.
Did you think this shit would just disappear? The bottom line is that Biden isnt going to get a landslide, but its likely we get a decent win in the EC and the popular vote.

(21,334 posts)that so many "fellow" Americans HATE liberals with such vehemence. It sickens me that all they vote for is the R behind a persons name. I do not know what we do to change that. Kumbaya isn't gonna cut it.
