Although it was claimed here last night that AP had called Arizona

for Biden, the NYT website does not reflect that. There are still enough outstanding votes from normally red counties to overcome Biden’s current lead. That was the case last night and it’s still the case this morning. Much as I loved thinking I lived in a blue state, it seems that’s not really the case, at least not yet.

getting blasted non-stop for 12 hours now by the orange fascist.

AZ may not be deep blue but it will go for Biden in the end.

that their guy who'd called AZ for Biden (to the great dismay of the orange blotus people) explain himself, which he did convincingly.

If he's wrong, he'll be looking for work.

Fox News awarded Ohio to Obama in 2012 and Karl Rove went on a meltdown so Megyn Kelly went down to the decision desk to explain their methodology. I'm not worried about Arizona.

It's not just that "it was claimed here last night that AP had called Arizona for Biden", the Associated Press really did call Arizona for Biden.

Associated Press News: Biden wins Arizona, flips longtime Republican stronghold

PHOENIX (AP) — Joe Biden won Arizona’s 11 electoral votes, becoming the second Democratic presidential candidate since 1948 to claim victory in the longtime Republican stronghold.

The former vice president benefited from the state’s changing demographics and successfully won over swing voters who split their tickets two years ago to elect a Republican governor and a Democrat to the U.S. Senate.

Trump and his allies made an aggressive, but ultimately futile, push to hold on to Arizona, which the president won by 3.5 percentage points in 2016.

Meanwhile, former astronaut Mark Kelly defeated Republican Sen. Martha McSally to become Arizona’s second Democratic senator. Arizona hasn’t had two Democratic senators since Earnest McFarland lost his reelection bid in 1952.
