I personally know Republicans in deep red areas who were in line after 10 pm, or who stood in line for hours, in places where not many people even vote. Republicans are at level 10. They won't get a greater turnout than these past two presidential elections. There is no room for growth.
Democrats, on the other hand, are not nearly as good at getting out the vote here. We are as a party not nearly as good on racial justice issues as we think we are, and there's lots of room for growth as far as getting people motivated to stand in line for hours. Also, we have to talk about getting jobs back. (I'm not talking about the pandemic - I'm talking long term.) People want to work. They don't want solutions about how to not have a job, like any kind of aid. They want want jobs. There's room there as well.
Also, I think Biden will win MI this time, and that's with such incredible motivation by Republican voters here. Trump supporters are crazy here. They will have a hard time finding someone who motivates them that much in four years.

(7,462 posts)The repubs will definitely run another piece of shit in 2024. Its easy to talk shit, scapegoat and just...be a goofy fuck like Trump. Whats not easy is having what Obama has.
Were going to see more of these Trump type assholes for years to come.
They very well may too.

Also, let's keep his daughters in mind, too. Ivanka has a following.
