(24,067 posts)This should be at least a 100,000 vote margin for Biden.

(5,574 posts)It's close though. Joe Biden needs 49.9% of the remaining uncounted Michigan votes, while Trump needs 50.1%. Based upon the general assumption that the winning candidate of each state will be the one who needs the lesser share of the uncounted votes, the outcome will be Biden wins, 271 to 267.
Edit: This is my own calculation from a spreadsheet that I wrote but CNN just reported the same result.

(42 posts)The word is that the remaining vote in MI should be heavily blue.
Also, Trump is likely to win that one electoral college vote outstanding in Maine, so Biden might win 270 to 268, not 271 to 267. Hopefully Biden wins another state or two though, so it won't be that close.

(5,574 posts)Biden needs fewer that 50% of the uncounted votes in AZ (11), ME (4), MI (16), NV (6), and WI (10).
Trump needs fewer that 50% of the uncounted votes in AK (3), GA (16), NC (15), and PA (20).
Based upon these assumptions and states that are called by CNN, Biden wins 271 - 267.

Peters (D) is still down about 30,000 for the MI Senate race. If the Dem margin keeps growing, that should pull him to victory there too.
It looks like the Dem lead IS going to grow a lot, so I'm expecting Peters will win.

(8,446 posts)a moot point. Taking Michigan was a step in that direction. Appears if Biden holds NV and Arizona, with Wis and Mich Biden wins. PA, GA and wherever else would just be icing on the cake.
Still bummed we won't get the Senate.

Also, Senator Harris will be 3 firsts for VP - woman, Black, and Asian. We must have her back. Don't let the fascist party do to her what they did to Obama. Don't be silent when they start in on her. Call them out, ridicule them, publicly humiliate them. Whatever it takes.

This will not go down well with Kim Jong Trump...
But I forgot that those are only for harmless people with harmless delusions not seriously crazy powerful people with delusions of grandeur..
The world religion and centrism give us: it is a delusion of grandeur only if it is not popular....if a large enough number backs a cult, it is respectable and not a delusion
