Each election. Just one - for the most part - so as not to draw too much attention to themselves. Florida can be counted on to be a clusterfuck that they can exploit so they don't worry too much about it. Based on how Karl Rove reacted in 2012 to Obama winning Ohio, I think whatever they pulled didn't work, or the person pulling the metaphorical lever chickened out, and Karl, being privy to the shenanigans, was surprised and pissed.

Maybe Pennsylvania was the state this year, and they only considered scenarios involving it, which is why Arizona got their hackles up, and the woman in white is denying reality.

I'm not one to normally believe in conspiracy theories - that's how "they" get you, you know. But this is at least plausible to me.
