Folks, I know everyone is re-thinking the money spent in Florida.

It might not be practical, but I am thankful for all the effort you put into this state. Things will not get better until we remove the Republicans from high office in this state, and it begins by not giving up.

like Texas might become over the next decade. However, it certainly shouldn’t be given anything like the attention of North Carolina or Georgia in future, and that applies at every level. It’s more red and therefore should be considered less relevant to non-Republicans.

in significant numbers. The new minimum wage change won’t keep them here. We need to develop high tech centers around our big state universities. Georgia and North Carolina have had success doing that, except for Orlando (the evil Disney World, to some here) Florida has lagged way behind and no real effort is being made to change that.

Democratic super pacs sent tons of money into the state but only about 1% went to Latinx outreach. They were more focused on flipping white communities.

Is that it is a retiree tax haven. Many that retire there ( not all but many) are retirees fleeing high tax industrial states Their anti tax move makes them very difficult to reach.

...but we got to slow down the GOP retirees or we have to attract more young Democrats.

Onward to 2022, where we have a governors race and a senate seat up for grabs.
