(23,491 posts)Prior to this election, exactly one incumbent president has been unseated in the last 40 years. America likes to re-elect presidents. Defeating one after their first term is a rare event these days.
I don't care if it is close -- if Biden wins, then a win is a win and we should treat it as such. He will have won the electoral college, won the popular vote, and received the most votes for president in history. Against an incumbent. That ain't nothing.
