If it wasn't for the cities, we would be fucked

I don't know how many more years we can expect the cities to bail us out of close elections in this bizarre country we currently inhabit, but THANK YOU TO ALL THE BLUE CITIES that are responsible for us still sitting here with hopes of winning this thing.

Large cities are primarily areas of consumption and the service economy.

Medium and heavy industrial businesses are no longer done in large cities. Even light and precision manufacturing is mostly done in rural or suburban rings.

11. City tax dollars pay for rural infrastructure, and often education, hospitals, housing, etc.

No reason to pit one against the other or to fear each other. That is how the GOP divides us and screws everyone but themselves.

I live in a suburb that grew from a vibrant city, but also have family property in a very rural area. Both have their place.

Imagine that hadn't emerged, giving Trump the opportunity to botch it SOOOOOO badly. That moron may have won a clear majority if it wasn't for the loss of hundreds of thousands of American lives.

Bonkers!

We need to hack the brainwashing machine (Fux, Falsebook, Twit, Hate Radio). These people are incredibly gullible, and we can exploit that if we put our minds to it.

I would also like to add that I have met, worked, and dealt with a large number of country bumpkins, and the majority of them would give you the shirt off their backs. Only thing is, they are as gullible as you mentioned, or maybe just plain naive, but the right wing think tanks know that, and they have been capitalizing on their naivety for decades. There is no reason on earth why we shouldn't be doing the same, but for some reason, whenever it's brought up, most people on this forum simply say fuck them and write them off. Big mistake.

One person should equal one vote. Obviously the EC is incredibly and unbelievably flawed, in that it sets up a minority rule situation, which is what we are possibly looking at for the 7th time in the last 8 elections. If people didn’t live in the city, they’d move to the country, and they would still exist as one person that voted their values, so I do not understand exactly what you are saying.
