And if America continues to be America where the rich - or even the "rich" - easily escape punishment for their crimes, you can bet he's going to start fundraising for 2024 as soon as possible. What he does with it - just keep it for himself, runs again, or has Ivanka run - is still up in the air. Depends on what's stronger - his egotistical need to defeat Biden, his love of grifting money, or whether he can be satisfied egotistically and monetarily-protected by setting up a Trump dynasty.

NY state bank fraud, insurance fraud, and tax evasion are just a few of the many state crimes for which he will be nailed. Plus, if he evaded NY state income taxes, and committed state bank and insurance fraud crimes, he also is indictable for federal versions of those crimes. Most likely, Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka were also complicit. Having state charges already filed will give cover to the Biden DOJ to eventually file federal charges (this would take away claims that the Biden administration was bringing charges due to politics).

Last, think about how many of his loan applications probably contain sworn falsehoods. Each one would be a crime, so the years in prison would add up. You don't think he told the truth in those loan applications, do you?

He will be eligible to run again. He may spend the next 4 years running. Remember he set up his reelection campaign the day after the inauguration. He will start running the same day Biden is declared.
