(23,714 posts)Honestly, the only reason we have a Facebook page is so I can share the Pic Of The Moment, and also have a way to give out emergency info if something goes wrong with DU.
The idea of trying to turn it into a useful discussion space really does not appeal to me. That's what the actual DU is for.

(18,035 posts)I'm only keeping Facebook for the 'Americans Retiring In France', 'Living In France', and my old neighborhood back in Philadelphia groups. I also follow Peter Turnley, the photographer, because he's such an inspiration.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
