Two elections in a row.

The Democrat receives roughly 3 million more votes than the republican (this year may actually be more than 3 million), and we still lose, or come extremely close to losing the election. Who in their right mind could look at this and think, "yeah, that's a good system for picking the leader of a country." ? There needs to be a real serious push to get rid of the electoral college.

He isn't going to lose.

But the electoral college must be abolished. It is tearing the country apart.

we have 65 million plus angry, sick and racist people running around. Your friends and neigbors who didn't put signs out but still pulled the lever for what is clearly straight up fascism.

The electoral college is obsolete, no doubt. But it was created by a racist, white male society that is still prevalent and powerful today. Until that is excised (and don't ask me how, I have zero idea), it really doesn't much matter. They now own the courts and the Senate for at least two more years. More grid-lock, more bullshit.

Gore won the popular vote. Third time in my lifetime now and I’m beginning to wonder if my vote ever counts.

Perhaps initial approach is to expand the House. Actual number calculated by every states population divided by population of least populous state. Wouldn't that mean more blue electors for prez election at least ?
