but I'm having a hard time reconciling that rail thin lead in Nevada and some maybe (minor) uncertainly surrounding Arizona. Not trying to wet the bed but somebody who feels convinced Biden is going to win please calm my/our (for the others still feeling uneasy) nerves. Thanks!

(21,786 posts)Outstanding NV vote is almost all from Clark County (Las Vegas) and will favour Biden. His lead will not evaporate there. Outstanding votes in AZ also likely to go for Biden;NV and AZ plus MI, WI, NE-1 and ME-1 = 270 without Georgia or Pennsylvania (which will also probably go for Biden once all the votes are in, which puts the EV total at 306).

(3,624 posts)The remaining vote is more than enough to win by 100k or more.
The late arriving vote (drop box and walk-in ballots) in AZ in 2018 went strongly for Sinema which is what allowed her to overcome an initial McSally lead. Just don't see how that vote would help Trump.

(3,467 posts)But then I look at it this way -
Sure, we haven't won yet - but we sure as heck haven't lost.
I can't change the outcome at this point, so I might as well assume that we've won.
It doesn't add to the pain if I turn out to be wrong, and it makes me feel better for now.

(131 posts)I feel like I've directed so much unhealthy energy to this election because it's so important. And I had begun to believe the landslide scenario so when it didn't happen last night it shook me up. Just going to try to stay positive and look at the big picture.

(1,558 posts)But my fear was because I was watching CNN and heard R. Santorium speculate that because the votes were cast later they sounded like Trump votes. Even though I know they come from democratic districts and the votesbare absentee/mail in votes which are more likely to be Niden. Also they could very well ne late because of the P.O.
