1. I just read the complaint the Trump campaign filed in Michigan and its a doozy.
The Trump campaign made it sound like it was about observing vote counting but its really more about dropboxes.
Lets dig in

1. I just read the complaint the Trump campaign filed in Michigan and its a doozy.
The Trump campaign made it sound like it was about observing vote counting but its really more about dropboxes.
Lets dig in
2. The campaign cites a new Michigan law that requires dropboxes to be under video surveillance
It doesnt allege that didnt happen. The Trump campaign want access to the videos.
We are talking about hundreds or thousands of hours of videos of boxes
3. What authority does the Trump campaign cite to prove they are entitled to this video? None. They just assert its part of the process of observing the count
The statute however specifically says observers can watch mail ballots be processed
Nothing about video
But lets imagine, somehow, that the Trump campaign was successful. What are they looking for? Antifa stuffing a bunch of ballots?
Even if you saw something suspicious, how could you connect that to even one ballot
And Trump trails by 60K+ votes
5. In short, this isnt a serious lawsuit. The Trump campaign wanted to sat they were suing in Michigan and this is the best they were able to come up with. Which tells you a lot.

OP
the strategy is: If you can't get ALL the videos, then you can't say that the boxes were secured

(like, you know, with a drive-up box, the passenger hands their ballot to the driver to drop in) that they can then dispute ?? who knows how many.
They are desperate, obviously.

so they can delay certification until after December 14, so they can name their own electors.
