Presumably it is not identical between states... But I've got no idea what the range of remedies

My guess is police officers or registered security are guarding the sites now.

I suspect the actual remedy effected would depend on which state because that would guide whether or not SCOTUS can cause Bush v Gore episode 2, or if they would choose to stay out of it as a pointless exercise.

And I don't think the residents of the state would be too thrilled with the side that destroyed the ballots.

It's really the only way to verify the veracity of the vote. Only way.

So, if something gets damaged, officials will know who to question first.
