My guess is police officers or registered security are guarding the sites now.

I suspect the actual remedy effected would depend on which state because that would guide whether or not SCOTUS can cause Bush v Gore episode 2, or if they would choose to stay out of it as a pointless exercise.

It's really the only way to verify the veracity of the vote. Only way.

So, if something gets damaged, officials will know who to question first.
