Take Heart Pete Buttigieg (aka Slayer Pete) proves the kGOP information bubble is wide but weak.
I know 70 million people voted for a child abusing racist and admitted sexual predator for president but I hold up the proof that America's better angels can be reached by popping the weak bubble of kGOP info world.
Warning, this guy doesn't like Pete as a candidate but is objective enough to say Pete kills on Faux
Bottom line, normal people don't vote for child abusing racist and admitted sexual predators so we can send the Slayer Petes far and wide to confront and inform the soul of America.

(16,616 posts)He can write his own ticket. Will he play a major role in the Biden administration? Will he decide to do something else?
His future is bright.

(4,458 posts)More candidates like this and AOC, fierce advocates down for bare-knuckled scraps. More women, more indigenous people, more POCs, more LGBTG+.
Fewer old white guys (With all due respect to Biden).

(7,365 posts)Pete becomes an "old white guy" does he lose that distinction because he is gay? Just asking for a friend.
The "anti white guy" schtick for some is just old and tired.
Dems should talk to EVERYONE, support EVERYONE so long as their policies are good and the character is good. When we start marginalization any demographic (for reasons one may considered justified) then we become the enemy we abhor.
BTW-Pete is pretty brilliant and I love the guy.

(4,458 posts)It is time to see the elected representatives reflect that.
While the Dems are more diverse than the GOP, that is a low bar. Seriously, we should be half women.

(93 posts)Pete wasn't popular during the primary? Didn't he win Iowa? And either a few others or come close to it?

but I sure would love to see him in the House or Senate.

(93 posts)But to say he wasn't popular in the primaries is a ridiculous thing to say.
