Moral conundrum

I trained as a non-partisan poll observer to help all people vote regardless of party affiliation on 3 November.. At times it was a grit my teeth situation, but I complied as a I agreed to help all voters in a polite manner. In all cases people were thankful and the process went with out incident.

Upon driving home, I regained by partisan status by flipping off a jacked up track flying a giant Trump flag. The teeth fell out of his mouth when an old, white man wearing a BLM mask (couldn't wear it at the poll, saved it for my drive home) in a ball cap with a Veteran plate gave him a maximum bird.

That was quite helpful.

Democrats want everyone to vote

Republicans want to restrict voting wherever and whenever they think it can be an advantage to them.

It has been true for decades but the stark realities of it have never been more clear than right now.

I think a major priority right now should be a monster voter rights legislation bill. It won't get through the Senate but I would pass it on Day 1 then raise money to put advertising everywhere to hang it around the turtles neck. After all, that would be a great new focus for the the Lincoln Project.
