(128,372 posts)20 electoral votes up for grabs as Pennsylvania mail-in ballot count continues
By Tim Jimenez and Jim Melwert KYW Newsradio 1060
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- It is still too early to call a winner in the presidential race in Pennsylvania, because mail-in ballots are still being counted. As of now, according to Pennsylvania's Department of State, close to 30% of mail-in ballots need to be counted. That's 763,000 votes. And that includes somewhere around 120,000 from Philly alone and 134,000 from the suburbs.
Montgomery County officials announced Thursday morning that all eligible votes that were returned by 8 p.m. on Election Day have been counted. The final tally among those votes -- Biden: 313,000; Trump: close to 183,000.
And Bucks County now says Joe Biden has taken a 4,000-vote lead there. It is unclear how this affects statewide numbers, because Pennsylvania hasnt updated its website yet.
Going into today, President Donald Trump had a 164,000-vote lead over challenger Joe Biden in Pennsylvania. The race has tightened significantly since the county began processing mail-in ballots, as officials say they expected. Mail-in ballots have generally favored Biden across the map. Biden says he's confident he'll win the state.

(128,372 posts)by a rally to keep the MAGats away! This is where Ghouliani and the 45 spawn tried to hold a presser yesterday and got run out, fleeing 15 miles north to Northeast Philly airport (if I heard it correctly this morning on the radio) to hold their idiotic presser.

(128,372 posts)The warehouse where ballots are counted will be closed for the day after workers finished counting mail-in ballots shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday.
There were 313,072 mail-in and absentee ballots that were scanned and counted.
Another 35,413 ballots still need to be manually examined. That number includes the 29,000 incorrect ballots that went out in the county and were later corrected with the mailing of new ballots. The rest have other issues, such as naked ballots or ballots that got damaged in the mail.

The County Return Board is expected to examine those ballots Friday.
Currently in Allegheny County, Joe Biden leads President Donald Trump by about 19 points.
