Trump actually epitomizes this thinking. In his mind, the POTUS is an absolute monarch. What he says goes. He's inculcated his followers with this same thinking, to the extent that most of them no longer think critically anymore. I think that there's a real shockwave coming when these people no longer are able to rely upon the president to do their thinking for then.
