But republican presidents just keep getting worse every time. I think we need to do whatever we can to make sure they never stick us with another republican president. The first thing we need to do is secure our democracy against hackers, foreign and domestic (thinking Karl Rove's band of hackers/programmers).

Given his health, shape, and complete lack of exercise, I'm guessing he'll suffer a massive coronary long before he could qualify for reelection. And by then his family name will be so toxic that no one will want Ivanka or Jared or Don Jr, or anyone from that hideous family.

I'm thinking of the legal possibilities, and wondering if there is any requirement that he be on US soil for any part of the pre-electon process. In which case they can grab jurisdiction over him and haul him into court . . . since presumably that's why he's fleeing to Russia; to avoid prosecution.

Of nose holder republicans who’d rather vote for satan himself than vote for a democrat. They were not voting for Trump, they were voting for a Republican. There is no way the GOP ever throws their money and support behind him again. It’s over.

He'll have 4 years of rallies and none of the responsibilies of running the country.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration will be hamstrung by the pandemic and any economic relief being blocked by a repug senate.

Hopefully he'll be in prison.

BUT

I am disturbed by people who actually think that next year he could have a television empire and in a position to head a movement.

Why will he not be rendered penniless and powerless through adjudication of his crimes?

Or left in the dustbin of history, revealed as what he is?

Thu Nov 5, 2020, 02:20 PM
Nov 2020

America being America the rich - even the "rich" - often don't pay for their crimes. If that happens, Trump will launch fundraising for 2024 the next day (if not before). I see three scenarios. Trump's ego wins out over his love of money, and he's actually running for president. Trump's love of money wins out over his ego, and he's doing another grift. A combination of ego, money, and safety from more prosecution by using the money for Ivanka to run, establishing a Trump dynasty.
