Nevada Press Conference: 63,262 Provisional ballots

60,000+ Provisional Ballots. Original posting on their website is incorrect. 120,000 is wrong. It's on the Clark County website.

Some number of ballots that require ID and can still be resolved. They have till 11/12 to fix those.
USPS is still delivering ballots.

They expect the cured and USPS ballots to be a "small number."

I think they said it will take till Saturday or Sunday to count something. Didn't hear what.

60k should not take that long to count. If they still have ballots coming in, then I get 11/12. LizBeth Nov 2020 #2

NC allows postmarked Nov 3 ballots too and so won't give a final count until next week;.

Because they have to make sure people were entitled to vote, didn't double vote, etc.

At least in Ohio, they attempt to count whatever portion of the ballot they were eligible to cast - which requires hand-counting.

For example, if they were in the right polling place, but the wrong precinct there may be alcohol issues they weren't eligible to vote for - so they hand count the votes for everything else (or remake a limited ballot) and eliminate the votes they were not eligible to cast.

It may even go as far as counting votes for national offices if they were registered to vote, but voted provisionally in the wrong county. (That would be the outside, and I'm too lazy to get my PEO/voter protection manual out to check.)

So those provisionals are a lot of manual work.

These go 50-50, and they get treated as such. If everything but Clark County Mail ins and these provisional ballots are counted and Biden has a lead, the State will be called for him.

Or sources? This would be big news. The only problem is that the total count is short of what's showing on the SoS daily vote count PDF. The discrepancy according to my own numbers is about 77K ballots. So...
