Question about the blue lives matter law enforcement flag

If you don't what it looks like please google it. It is basically the American flag with the colors changed. The first time I saw one I thought I was going color blind.

My question: how is it not defacing the actual American Flag when you take the American flag and totally change its colors?

Just asking...

It is a bit strange that they choose to change everything to black and white, and set a blue line on it. It can be read as the blue line separating black and white. I know that was not what their intent was (I presume) but it is an odd correlation considering the history of the formation of police forces and their relationship to finding runaway slaves.

4. It's certainly ok to make a flag for law enforcement if they want to, but

7. That flag sucks because it represents white supremacy in local law enforcement.

My tax dollars pay for the services of my local police department; therefore, I am already supporting police and, in return, they're supposed to protect and serve me no matter what my political affiliation. There's no reason for local groups (e.g., the PBA) to then politicize the police and ask for community support. This flag is the symbol of the right-wingers' hate of the Black Lives Matter movement. When I see the Blue Lives Matter flag signs or actual flags in neighbors' yards, it's almost a guarantee there are Trump flags and signs surrounding it. It represents a hate group plain and simple.

Absolutely ANTI-AMERICAN!
