Non stop campaign rallies, texts, tweets...he has nothing else.

15. He can run, but he won't win the nomination.
The GOP won't make the same mistake twice. We won't see two dozen candidates in the 2024 primary if Trump is one of them. They'll rally behind one person and ensure he never has a chance.

29. Are you sure?
Republican voters seem to love Trump. They are the ones who pick the nominee.

34. He only won because the anti-Trump contingent split the vote about a dozen ways.
The field was too large for too long. It allowed Trump to hang around as the others dropped out one-by-one. Had the race been between Trump and, say, Romney, from the start, Trump would have gotten thumped. It was also an extraordinarily weak field.
Republican voters love Trump because they don't really have any choice. They didn't love him in the primaries en masse until he gained momentum as others died off. They rallied behind him once he was the clear front-runner because the alternative was Hillary Clinton. As an aside, Bernie Sanders was banking on a similar tactic in the Democratic primaries. His campaign felt that he could win with maybe 30% of the vote because the rest would be split several ways. Had Dems not rallied behind Biden starting in SC (and a bunch of candidates dropped out), it might have worked. Probably would have. |

This mostly about keeping the GOPers who can't stand him, but enabled him, from turning on him publicly.

20. That means he knows he's lost so this is good news
He loves rallies so he might run again but it might not go so well once his cult followers see him as a loser. And we'll see what dirt comes out over the next year or so.

This could make a second such occasion. The first was Eugene Debs, because he was opposed to participation in World War 1.

for sure the winner. He'll start fund raising and continue his rallies. He might even at some point say that the 1st Princess will be his running mate.
