What do you guys think about Cuomo in 2024? Assuming Biden doesn't run (Original Post) Alhena Nov 2020 OP

He won't get the kind of backing he got four years ago and his many legal problems will overwhelm him. After this, he should be a broken man with no real prospects of any kind.

If Joe doesn't run in 2024, it should be Kamala Harris.

He's about to be indicted.

Secondly, considering his mental and physical decline, even if he survives four more years he will not be in any shape to run for president. He'll be babbling, drooling and peeing in his pants.

Enabled a bunch of renegade "Democrats" for years in their ridiculous movement to caucus with Republicans in the NY State Senate, preventing any truly liberal legislation being passed. Finally, there was an uprising and these fake "Demos" were voted out of power, but it was no thanks to Gov. Cuomo. He has some positive qualities including being a good leader when he's inspired, but pass.

I just read his new book, American Crisis, and he said that when he is no longer governor, he just wants to go fishing and enjoy his daughters. I hope he runs for president someday because I think he'd be a great POTUS. His father, Governor Mario Cuomo, also declined to run for president. He also turned down the Supreme Court seat that ended up going to RBG.

I think he would be very good at undoing the divide Trump has created. He's so reasonable, and rational, and calming ... he is politically savvy and also has a heart. The antidote to republican rabies.

Seriously... this talk of 2024 is kind of stupid. We are tying Biden’s hands before he’s even taken the oath of office.

Let’s just hope that he retains his good health physically and mentally and that he is in good enough shape to run for re-election. Biden knows what he is up against and the stress and is prepared.

The best scenario would be that he sets up Harris for a run in 2028.

In 8 years, Mark Kelly would have the experience to mount a challenge as well, and though everyone is tired of white guys, he has the potential to grow into a political force.
