Joe gained ground on Trump in a red county. Maybe those Never Trump republicans are finally coming through.

...because there were probably only a small number of mail-ins in that county relative to the Trumpers who voted in person on Tuesday. As a reflection of the county, it likely means little...but, in a race which was already on a knife's edge when all the in-person votes were counted, it could be yuge.

...but it's somewhat predictable that those voting with Trump would show up in person (because "it's just like the flu&quot , while anti-Trump voters would use mail-in.

That's the area that was notoriously racist for most of the 20th century, where Rev. Hosea Williams co-led a Brotherhood March in 1987.

It drives me nuts that the plant "forsythia" is being "forSITHia" insted of "forSIGHthia" (which is how I learned to pronounce that name).

17. My dad's family is from Georgia, and we have a Forsyth county here in NC too

As a name it's always pronounced that way here in the south as far as I know. But the shrub is pronounced forSITHia around here, although most people just call it goldenrod.

OMG that would be confusing for gardeners like me knowing what a goldenrod looks like.

The plant was named for botanist William Forsythe.
