(27,543 posts)Sure, they might be from a deep blue county, but news services get paid to make accurate calls, not to further a political agenda (even Fox News, as we saw from Arizona on Tuesday night), and, in their judgment, there's still the possibility, however unlikely, that the result could change.

(69,096 posts)North Carolina won't complete our count until next week, but nobody cares because the outcome seems to be clear.
I'm glad that states allow absentee and provisional ballots to arrive and be counted.
Look at Florida. They left how many thousands of uncounted ballots at the post office. Look how that turned out. Those people's votes really were stolen.
